At Iris Yoga, we use a simple star rating to show the general intensity of each class.
We never want a rating to hold anyone back from trying something new, though, especially because every class offers modifications, options, and support for all levels.
We welcome you to use these ratings as gentle guidance rather than rules. Your practice is always adaptable, and you’re encouraged to grow at your own pace.

This class is the perfect complement to an active lifestyle. For anyone who often says “ugh, I need yoga!” - THIS is the practice for you. Yin Yoga focuses on deep connective tissue to release muscle tightness, improve circulation and increase mobility by holding passive poses for longer periods of time. Yogis will remain mostly lying or seated on their mats as they focus on stretching the hips, pelvis, and lower back with the help of blocks, straps, and bolsters. We love Yin Yoga for anyone from absolute beginners to advanced athletes. Yin Yoga is even safe for our pregnant clients or those recovering from injury. Expect the lights to be dim and soft music to set the mood.
Start here to lay down your roots. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or just enjoy a slower, functional based class, Absolute Beginner is for you! We keep this class style low-sensory to allow you to focus more on alignment, breathing and modifications. You can expect a supportive and inclusive environment to start, explore or deepen your yoga practice.
Ready to grow? Our Gentle Vinyasa class is perfect for those who want to explore a yoga practice at a gentle pace. You’ll still get to challenge yourself while being supported with props, modifications and learning the functional elements of yoga. New poses may be workshopped with plenty of options to meet you where you are. Learn to enjoy the transitions between poses and connecting the breath to movement.
Our Yoga Flow class is designed to get you moving and explore transitions, challenges and leave you feeling both relaxed and refreshed. You will spend about 3-5 breaths in each pose as you enjoy the creative aspect of vinyasa – we promise no class will be the same! You don’t need to be a seasoned yogi to take this class, but you can expect lots of dynamic movement with props offered for modifications.
Mat Pilates is a low-impact, full-body workout focused on core strength, alignment, and mindful movement. You’ll move through controlled exercises on the mat that target the abs, back, hips, and glutes—improving posture, balance, and overall strength. Accessible and effective, this class offers options for all levels in a supportive, welcoming environment. Expect to leave feeling stronger, more connected, and energized.
The perfect, full-body trifecta! Start with 15 minutes to increase your heart rate and get SWEAT. This segment will be a mix of HIIT and Tabata to get you movin'. Once you are good and warmed up, the next 15 minutes will focus on STRENGTH. Expect more controlled movement using weights or TRX, mixed with isometric holds and core work. Let's end the workout with a much deserved STRETCH. We won't let you go without 15 minutes of yoga focusing on mobility, controlling the breath, and relaxing the mind. If you only have 45 minutes in the day for YOU, this is where you should spend it!
Celebrate your inner strength with Iris emPOWER Flow, a class designed to build long-lasting, functional fitness from the inside out. This practice combines light weights, core-focused exercises, and dynamic flows inspired by yoga, Pilates, and barre. Set your intention at the start and move through sequences that strengthen your pelvic floor, improve mobility, and enhance overall endurance. By the end of class, you’ll feel balanced, emPOWERed, and more connected to your body’s true potential no matter where you are in your health journey. All levels are welcome to move at their own pace for this Iris signature class.
Yoga Flow (+) is our most vigorous vinyasa class where you can expect all the traditional elements of yoga in a way that is designed to get your heart rate up. Expect fun challenges, upbeat music and minimal rest. This class will leave you feeling strong, energized and is recommended for those who are up for a challenge! If you’ve never done yoga before, we suggest you try one of our other offerings before starting here.
We plan to continue offering live, remote classes via Zoom indefinitely as a convenience. All classes are noted as to whether they are [From Home] or in-studio. Book your class on our site, virtual classes are blocked on the app due to Apple restrictions.
