Iris Yoga began over ten years ago when owners Kristin and Taryn met in teacher training—two different styles, two different backgrounds, and one shared belief that yoga should feel welcoming, grounding, and real. What started as a friendship rooted in movement and mindfulness grew into a shared vision: to create a space where every person feels seen, supported, and strong in their own way. Our differences—structure and flow, strength and softness, planning and intuition—have become the heartbeat of Iris.
As Iris has grown over the years, we’ve been intentional about building more than a schedule of classes. We’ve carefully curated a team of instructors who embody the same values that brought us together: compassion, inclusivity, professionalism, and genuine care for the people who walk through our doors. Each teacher brings their own training, personality, and lived experience to the studio, but we are united by a commitment to meeting students where they are and honoring every individual and every season of life.
At Iris, community isn’t a buzzword—it’s the foundation. We celebrate milestones together, hold space during difficult seasons, and encourage one another on and off the mat.
