This 6-Week Series meets on Wednesdays at 5:00pm starting July 10th

Our Sensory-Friendly Yoga Class is a safe and inclusive class where individuals of all abilities can explore the benefits of yoga. This series is thoughtfully designed to cater to those with sensory sensitivities as well as those who may enjoy a supportive environment as they start or deepen a yoga journey.

In these sessions, our compassionate and trained instructors will guide you through a gentle and sensory-aware yoga practice, emphasizing comfort and self-expression. Here's what you can expect:

  1. Sensory-Friendly Environment: Our studio is carefully designed to minimize sensory triggers, with soft lighting, soothing colors, and a quiet atmosphere. We encourage participants to bring their sensory supports like weighted blankets or fidget tools.

  2. Gentle Movements: Our yoga sequences are adapted to provide a calm and nurturing experience. We focus on slow, controlled movements to increase body awareness and flexibility, making it accessible to all.

  3. Mindful Breathing: Learn to use breath as a tool for relaxation and emotional regulation. We incorporate breathing exercises that are gentle and suitable for everyone.

  4. Progressive Sessions: This series consists of a set of classes that build upon each other, allowing participants to gradually become more comfortable with yoga. You can join at any level and progress at your own pace. Our goal is to help students feel comfortable taking our regular sensory-friendly classes.
