In this dynamic 90 minute workshop you will start or continue your path to stronger muscles, better sex, and confident sneezes. The pelvic floor is the unsung hero of true, functional, dynamic core strength. Often forgotten because we aren't supposed to say vagina, this hammock of muscles does some serious heavy lifting and deserves some credit and attention. Whether or not you've had children!
Focus on finding liftoff in your headstand. Megan will teach you different techniques for transitioning into and mastering this key pose. Use your core as you tuck up, pike up, wide-legged float up, or split leg up.
This workshop will begin with a gentle flow to unwind the body, pranayama to move into a more relaxed state, followed by Yoga Nidra, to send your mind to a place of rest. You will be given the tools to create a night time routine that resonates with you, so you will have a more restful sleep.

This course will provide yoga teachers with a better understanding of creating an inclusive space for individuals with developmental disabilities. Yoga for this population is especially important for physical health, emotional regulation, social skills & interaction, sensory integration, self-esteem, cognition, mental health and improved sleep. Teachers will be able to provide private or group sessions to this population after this mini course.
